SPX90 / 95 masts have a very high concentration of carbon (90% carbon in RDM and 95% carbon in SDM) and are therefore extremely stiff.
Compared to the TPX100 we have built an additional security level of strength: a loop with a higher thickness prepreg coiled around the shaft. This layer does not affect the stiffness or curvature of the shaft, but increases the strength. It strengthens the column and prevents riser ovalization during compression, eliminating the main reason for shaft breakage. Technical data
