Shaper Werner Gnigler aimed to bring the success and improved feel of JP's performance foil race boards to the recreational foil class, resulting in the HydroFoils. These boards prioritize comfort and accessibility, eliminating unnecessary volume and width. Stability, comfort, and control are enhanced to ensure a fast run on all tracks once airborne.
The narrow boards with proven proportions and dimensions offer low swing weight for control, especially beneficial in the air for a sense of total dominance over the foil. Large cut-outs and a thin profile contribute to easy take-offs, reduced drag on occasional touch-downs, and stable flights. The deck design with a slight dome in the footstrap area ensures a comfortable connection to the board, allowing riders to work the foil efficiently.
The 133 model caters to a wide wind range, making it an all-round choice for most riders. The 155, initially designed for foil races, serves as a downsized, easy-handling, and fun version, particularly suitable for light wind spots and larger sails.
Key features of the Wood Pro edition include parabolic rail reinforcement, integrated Innegra nose reinforcement, full bottom Paulownia wood sandwich construction, large tail cut-outs, multiple footstrap positions, and a foil-Tuttle box. The ES edition features rail reinforcement, Paulownia wood reinforcements, significant nose reinforcement with integrated Biax-Glass, deck stringer, multiple footstrap positions, and a foil-Tuttle box.
JP's HydroFoils of the third generation blend the characteristics of freeride and performance foil classes, offering exciting and fun sailing experiences with blistering pace. Their accessibility makes them suitable for recreational riders, delivering impressive speed across the wind. The boards' ease is the foundation of their outstanding performance, providing a comfortable and stable platform for confident and fast foiling for everyone.
